incandescent limelight

Happy Thursday! It being the 3rd Thursday of the month means that I get a day off. Of course, now that I’m an adult that also means working my butt off on my day off so my house doesn’t look a mess.

- clean the bathroom, floors and kitchen. I’ve been trying to keep up with the recommended 30-day cleaning list from Apartment Therapy, but most nights after dinner I just want to crash and watch An Idiot Abroad, ok? So I play catch-up on my day off. I really ought to do 10 mins in the morning, 10 at night, but again, I don’t wanna. *pout*

- work. Yes, I actually am very sneaky and put in a few hours of work on my day off so my Friday and weekend aren’t so busy. Shh, don’t tell my bosses.

- head off to downtown. I have to go to the tailor and to drop off some things at SallyAnn. I’m also going  to shop around, maybe look for some stuff for our apartment (I think a rocking chair would look really cute in our living room, but I’m not sure how I will get it home. Piggy back it maybe?).

-figure out something easy but delicious that I can make Garret for dinner. He does all the cooking because  he’s much better at it than I am (but I do the dishes), but since I’m home anyway I might as well try my hand at the culinary arts.

- Then after I’m done all my house-hold duties I’m going to sit around in my  underwear reading blogs. Because I’m certainly not doing that now. <_<    >_>
