incandescent limelight

… You feel so victorious when they finally turn out!

(sorry for the over-shadow fill. This computer doesn’t have Photoshop and so I had to fix it in Picasa. Boo)

They’re actually supposedly named after the victory rolls pilots would do after shooting down enemy planes, but I couldn’t really verify that.

 I tried looking at tutorials but I found my best method was using a lot of pomade, a little hair spray and just mucking about until it looked good. This is my motto for life, actually.

Here how it looks all together. I’m just wearing a while tee (stolen from Garret) and some jeans. Nothing too extravagant - it is my day off, after all. 

I have a bizarre look on my face but this was the best of the lot. Notice how you can see the front AND back of my head. Perks of having two mirrors in the bathroom. Garret just got home for lunch so I’m going to make him take photos of me. Muah.

I’m going grocery shopping later and then to Rotaract, so this will be my first time in public looking vintage and I’m a bit nervous. Stiff upper lips, etc.
